Director of Operations, EAM-Mosca de Mexico
POSITION OVERVIEW
EAM-Mosca de Mexico is the Mexican subsidiary of EAM-Mosca Corp., a U.S.-based manufacturer and
supplier of industrial End-of-Line packaging systems, equipment, consumables, spare parts and technical
services.
EAM-Mosca de Mexico is entering a significant phase of growth. In addition to its established sales,
service and aftermarket activities, the company now operates its own strap manufacturing plant, as a
subsidiary Mosca Fleje de Mexico, and is expanding its capabilities with plans for machine assembly and
additional manufacturing activities. The Mexican business is expected to grow substantially in the coming
years, both in its workforce and overall operations, with opportunities to support customers and markets
across the Americas.
The HR Manager leads all human resources activities for EAM-Mosca de Mexico and serves as a
strategic and hands-on HR business partner to the site leadership team. Supporting a growing
organization of more than 65 employees across manufacturing, operations, sales, service, and
administrative functions, this role is responsible for building the people, capabilities, culture, and HR
processes required to support significant continued growth.
The HR Manager will ensure compliance with Mexican employment laws and regulations while partnering
with the corporate HR organization in Pennsylvania to implement consistent Group policies, programs,
and best practices. This is a highly visible, hands-on position suited to an HR professional who is
comfortable working directly with employees and managers in a growing manufacturing environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- HR Leadership & Business Partnership: Serve as the primary HR partner to the site
- leadership, providing guidance on organizational structure, workforce planning, employee
- relations, performance, compensation, and talent decisions.
- Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Lead recruiting, selection, onboarding, and
- workforce planning, with particular emphasis on manufacturing, technical, engineering,
- service, and leadership positions.
- Employee Relations: Foster a positive and professional workplace culture; address
- employee relations matters consistently and effectively; and coach managers on
- performance, conduct, attendance, and employment practices.
- Mexican Labor Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable Mexican labor laws and
- regulations, including employment documentation, working conditions, benefits, terminations,
- and required records.
- Compensation & Benefits: Partner with corporate HR and Finance on compensation, salary
- reviews, incentive programs, benefits, payroll coordination, and other employee programs.
- Performance & Development: Lead performance management, employee development,
- training, succession planning, and leadership-development initiatives.
- Culture & Engagement: Drive employee engagement, retention, communication, and
- organizational culture in alignment with EAM-Mosca's Values project,
- HR Policies & Processes: Develop and continuously improve local HR policies, procedures,
- employee documentation, HR systems, and processes that can scale with organizational
- growth.
- HR Administration: Oversee core HR administration, personnel records, attendance, payroll
- inputs, benefits administration, and coordination with external providers.
- Corporate HR Partnership: Work closely with the Director of HR at EAM-Mosca Corp. to
- implement Group HR initiatives, policies, systems, reporting, and best practices while
- appropriately adapting them to the Mexican organization.
- Organizational Growth: Support organizational design and workforce development as EAM-Mosca de Mexico expands its manufacturing capabilities, workforce, and operations.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or
- related field.
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial
- environment.
- Strong knowledge of Mexican/Nuevo Leon labor law and employment practices.
- Demonstrated experience in recruiting, employee relations, compensation, performance
- management, benefits, and HR administration.
- Experience partnering with plant/site leadership and frontline employees.
- Experience supporting organizational growth and workforce expansion.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR information/payroll systems (esp. ADP, SAP).
- Bilingual; Fluent Spanish and strong English communication skills required.
