Distributor Manager – East Coast (East of the Mississippi)

Location: Remote – Eastern United States Territory: All states east of the Mississippi River Reports To: Director of Distribution Sales

Position Summary

The Distributor Manager is responsible for developing and managing EAM Mosca's distribution network throughout the eastern United States while driving sales growth through distributors and system integrators. This position serves as the primary point of contact for channel partners and is responsible for strengthening existing relationships, identifying new business opportunities, expanding market share, and ensuring customers receive exceptional support and service.

Working closely with distributors, system integrators, end users, and internal departments, the Distributor Manager will develop territory growth strategies, support complex sales opportunities, coordinate technical resources, and promote EAM Mosca's full line of strapping equipment, end-of-line automation solutions, consumables, parts, and service offerings.

Essential Responsibilities

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with EAM Mosca's authorized distributors throughout the assigned territory.

· Work closely with distributor sales and service teams to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities.

· Establish and maintain relationships with system integrators to specify EAM Mosca equipment into automated packaging lines and end-of-line packaging systems.

· Identify and recruit new distributors and system integrators to expand EAM Mosca's market presence and strengthen territory coverage.

· Conduct regular business reviews with channel partners to evaluate performance, identify market opportunities, and develop strategic growth plans.

· Assist distributors and system integrators with product selection, application support, technical presentations, quotations, and customer visits.

· Collaborate with Engineering, Technical Service, Customer Service, Marketing, and Inside Sales to ensure timely support for channel partners and customers.

· Promote EAM Mosca's equipment, consumables, parts, and service programs while achieving annual sales, profitability, and market share objectives.

· Provide product and sales training for distributor personnel and system integrators to ensure a high level of product knowledge and technical competency.

· Develop strategic territory plans to increase equipment placements, consumable sales, and long-term customer relationships.

· Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer requirements, providing recommendations to management that support strategic initiatives and product development.

· Resolve channel conflicts professionally while maintaining positive and productive relationships throughout the sales network.

· Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, customer activity, and opportunity tracking within the company's CRM system.

· Represent EAM Mosca at trade shows, industry events, distributor meetings, customer presentations, and association conferences.

· Travel throughout the assigned territory to support channel partners, cultivate customer relationships, and develop new business opportunities.

· Participate in cross-functional and special project work as needed.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.

· Five years of successful industrial sales, business development, or channel management experience preferred.

· Experience working with distributors, system integrators, or industrial automation partners is strongly preferred.

· Experience selling industrial equipment, capital equipment, packaging machinery, automation systems, or related manufacturing solutions preferred.

· Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

· Demonstrated ability to develop strategic business relationships and drive territory growth.

· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.

· Valid driver's license and the ability to travel approximately 50–70% throughout the assigned territory.
