EAM-Mosca Corp., Hazle Township, PA, a dynamic market leader in the area of end-of-line automated packaging machinery and consumable strapping solutions, is seeking a Marketing Generalist to join our Marketing Department.

EAM-Mosca is privately held and retains a unique, focused, entrepreneurial culture. EAM-Mosca also enjoys a blue-chip client base of highly successful North and South American manufacturing companies and a portfolio of products for a variety of end-use markets. The key to the business's ongoing success is a system-based product portfolio featuring standard and custom-engineered packaging machinery solutions, as well as a superior consumable packaging product, complemented by quality technical service and readily available after-sales parts support.

Job Description:
The Marketing Generalist will support the Marketing Team in its efforts to attract new customers, gain market share and expand brand recognition.  This role will work as directed by the Director of Marketing to create, execute and analyze marketing initiatives across EAM-Mosca’s performance brands and market development initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Competitor Analysis: Identify, track and report on the actions and communications of EAM-Mosca competitors to establish a thorough understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of their products and services in order to help us build appropriate market-gain strategies.
  • Social Media: Generate a content calendar for EAM-Mosca’s Social Media platforms working with designers, copywriters and GroupMosca partners to boost the reach and effectiveness of our social posts and outreach efforts.
  • Tradeshow Operations: Support the Marketing and Sales teams as instructed to plan, organize and analyze our annual trade show strategies.  Will include but is not limited to: researching new show/expo opportunities and sponsorships, managing show/expo calendar/database, packing/shipping trade-show assets, organizing attendee schedules and hotel accommodations, preparing exhibit documentation, ordering giveaways and support items, preparing pre-show website dashboards and processing new customer leads.
  • Pipeline Support: Work with the Director of Marketing and Marketing Lead Specialist to review customer acquisition funnel activities and assist in executing new customer connection and retention initiatives.
  • Department Expense Management: Assist the Director of Marketing with processing, tracking and analyzing department expenses to generate accurate budgets and forecasts.  Will include purchase order entries, invoice submissions, department expense database and report maintenance, and vendor RFPs.
  • Customer Research: Work with Marketing and other EAM-Mosca teams as needed This will include but is not limited to development/deployment, case study creation, sales transaction data analysis and customer testimonial acquisition.
  • Sales Quote Support: Assist and provide back-up for Sale Quote Administrator as needed.  Will include working in Salesforce to generate and distribute customer quotes during times of peak demand or for vacation coverage.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: May include but not limited to working with Sales Team on special customer-specific projects, participating on EAM-Mosca product/services committees, working with external vendors or industry partners, etc.
     

Profile and Background:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or Business Administration preferred.  Comparable industry experience will be considered in lieu of education.
  • Experience (Preferred): 2-5 years of experience in marketing, communications or related role.

Preferred Qualifications: 
  • General Marketing: Demonstrated knowledge of traditional and digital marketing principles. Analytical mindset with ability to interpret marketing performance data a strong plus.
  • Project Management: A team player with strong organizational and time management skills are essential.  Must be comfortable working with others to prioritize projects and workload in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Initiative and Self Motivation: Willingness to take ownership of assigned projects, utilize available resources, follow-through to completion, and learn from experience.
  • Results Driven: Able to focus on goals, identify potential obstacles, develop appropriate tactics to achieve desired results.
  • Technical Aptitude: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint.  Experience Social Media content tools and best practices is a plus.  
  • Content Creation: Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to develop/edit compelling marketing copy for email, website, social media, print placements and presentations.
